Usage Settings affect general usability of Kognitiv Loyalty.

  • Lookup Interaction Type - The type of interaction that is issued to a member whenever a CSR lookup their account in Clienteling Services.  Issue of this interaction is also dependent on the associated "Usage Setting" for users within the User page.
  • Email Is Unique Thru Database - If enabled, an Email address can only exist once within the member database.
  • Use Email as Id (Keep in Sync) - Upon entry into member accounts, Email addresses will be propagated to, and can be used as an account Id.
  • Prevent Manual Removal of Email from Application - If enabled, users can't remove members' existing Email addresses via the platform application interface.
  • Prevent Manual Removal of Email from Member Portal - If enabled, members can't remove an existing Email address via the member portals.
  • Phone Is Unique Thru Database - If enabled, each phone number can only be associated to a single member within the database.  Please refer to on-screen info regarding excluded portions of number.
  • Use Phone as Id (Keep in Sync) - Upon entry into member accounts, phone numbers will be propagated to, and can be used as an account Id.  Please refer to on-screen info regarding excluded portions of number.
  • Manually Allow Locking/Unlocking of Points - If enabled, member points can be manually locked and unlocked.
  • Allow Manual Processing of Automatic Rewards - If enabled, manual reward processing will be available within the Clientelling Services page.
  • Use Account Phone Number - If enabled, account phone number can be stored for member accounts.
  • Use Account Mobile Number - If enabled, account mobile number can be stored for member accounts.
  • External Case Location - Cases retrieved from an external SMTP server will be associated to this location.
  • Auto Update Unknown Gender - If enabled, a daily job will execute, setting a "best guess" gender for members whose gender has not been set, based on the first name.  A corresponding scheduling entry is available in the Queue Schedule page.
  • Disable Loyalty Program Enrollment - If enabled, disables new member enrollment via the application.
  • Show Postal Address Labels - If disabled, only C/O and Country labels will be displayed next to application address input boxes.
  • Hide C/O Address - If enabled, C/O field will be hidden throughout Kognitiv Loyalty.  This cannot be enabled if there is C/O data.
  • Loyalty Program Enrollment Requirements - The enabled items will be required for enrollment purposes via the application enrollment forms.  Note: Partial Birthdate refers to month and day.
  • Disable Prospect Enrollment - If enabled, disables new unverified, nonmember enrollment via the application.
  • Prospect Enrollment Requirements - The enabled items will be required for enrollment purposes via the application enrollment forms.  Note: Partial Birthdate refers to month and day.
  • CC Closed Cases To Location Email - If enabled, will CC all closed cases with public entry information to the associated location's primary and/or secondary Email.
  • Enable Child Info for Members - If enabled, child information can be stored via the Clienteling Services page and also the applicable web portal module type.
  • Max. Number of Children per Member - The maximum number of children that can be stored if the previous option is enabled.
  • Head of Household - If enabled, head of household functionality can be utilized.
    • Max. Number of Dependents - The maximum number of dependents (up to 500) that a head of household can have in specified amount of calendar days.
    • Dependent Head of Household Change Limit - Limits the amount of head of household dependent member additions.
    • Head of Household Status Change Delay - Enforces a minimum delay on the amount of elapsed time for a dependent to become a head of household or vice versa.
  • Purge Placeholder Accounts - If enabled, placeholders will be automatically deleted, based on the following "Purge Placeholder Setting".
  • Point Transfer Transaction Type - The transaction type used for point transfers.  If this option is not visible, than this setting is currently not compatible with program configuration.
  • Facebook Connect Settings - Related to the Facebook Connect functionality.
  • Enable Twitter Features - If enabled, the Twitter-related functionality and pages will be available within the Web menu.
  • Allow Prospect to Loyalty Program Member Combine - If enabled, will allow combines between a prospect and a member.
  • Allow 2 Loyalty Program Members to be Combined - If enabled, will allow two members to be combined.
