An import source represents the origination point of a file, whether it be the vendor or the external program, and provides data mapping in file import specifications where location translation(s) and/or transaction translation(s) are necessary. In file import specifications where translations are not applicable, the import source acts only as a descriptive identifier.
Creation of import sources can only be managed by Inspire Support.
