A retro transaction is an alternate type of transaction; a temporary one that is stored, but not associated to a member account. With successful retro claim(s), members can claim retro transaction(s) and have them associated to their account as a standard transaction. If a transaction created by a retro claim is canceled, the retro transaction is once again set to unclaimed and can be claimed by any member except for ones that submitted a claim that matched the transaction.
Only select processes can generate a retro transaction and if retro transactions are not claimed within the parameters specified on the retro claim settings page, they will be removed at the configured time on the Queue Schedule page.
