Transaction Synch File and the Event Driven Promotion

Each time the Event Driven Promotion issues points, a new transaction is created which contains the points issued to the member.

  • If the event that triggered the promotion is the Reward Issued Event, a transaction is issued against the member called "Promotion Outcome for Rewards".  These transactions will be included in the transaction file with the points amount issued. 
  • If the event that triggered the promotion is the Member Interaction Event, a transaction is issued against the member called "Promotion Outcome for Interactions".  These transactions are included in the transaction file with the points amount issued.
    • Note If you would like to link these transactions to the Member Transaction ID that triggered the points issuance, please tick the checkbox in the Transaction Synch Settings to "Include Triggering App Transaction ID".  Doing this you can track from the original member transaction ID all points that would have been issued due to that member's interaction with the Loyalty Programme.
