System Location: Admin / Item Types / Interaction Types
Interaction types define the interactions that can be issued within Kognitiv Loyalty. Within the aforementioned page, there are also system interaction types that cannot be altered and can only be issued via their related process.
Example: The "Phone Added" interaction type is automatically assigned to a member account when the account moves from having no phone numbers to one or more valid phone numbers.
Managing Interaction Types
To create an interaction type, click the "Add Interaction Type" link at the top of the aforementioned page. Alternately, you can modify existing non-system interaction types by clicking "Edit" within the grid. You can also delete unused interaction types from the edit page.
The management page requires the name of the interaction type, an external reference, default status, and an optional ability to disable any note entry.
