Parimutuel refers to a betting system in which all bets are placed in a pool, per bet type, per race. Within Kognitiv Loyalty, this specifically refers to bets placed on horse racing.
In Kognitiv Loyalty, a parimutuel transaction is treated similarly to a retail purchase, in that members can be awarded points based on the wager amount. Transaction point formulas can be configured by location, by parimutuel track.
