The transaction timestamp (or transaction post date) of an individual transaction represents the date and time that the transaction was recorded in Kognitiv Loyalty database. Transactions also have activity timestamps, which have the capability to store the date and time when the transaction actually occurred.
For example, a retail transaction may have taken place at the cash register on November 6, 2010 @ 11:40 AM (activity timestamp), but was not recorded to the database until November 6, 2010 @ 7:00 PM (transaction timestamp).
