RSS ("Really Simple Syndication") is a web feed methodology, used to publish messaging to subscribers of the feed. RSS feeds are handled in third-party software, or browser extensions, much of which is distributed freely on the Internet.
Managing RSS Feeds

In order to propagate RSS messaging, a feed must first be created. Within the aforementioned system location, RSS feeds can be created via the "Add RSS Feed" link at the top of the page. Existing feeds can be managed or deleted by clicking the "Edit" link next to the associated feed.
Upon saving an RSS feed, the URL link for the feed can be ascertained by entering the detail version of the feed by clicking either "View" or "Edit" within the grid for the associated feed. This link can then be propagated to the potential member base.

Once a feed has been established, visiting the aforementioned page allows management of feed items. A feed item is equivalent to a new message.
RSS feed items can be created via the "Add RSS Feed" link at the top of the page, after the appropriate feed has been selected in the dropdown above the main grid. Existing feeds can be managed or deleted by clicking the "Edit" link next to the associated feed. After a feed is saved, it will be propagated to the feed and will be available to subscribers.
