Activity Timestamp

The activity timestamp of an individual transaction represents the date and time that the transaction occurred.  This may or may not be generated by Kognitiv Loyalty, as file imports often support the ability to include an activity timestamp within the transaction data.  Transactions also have transaction timestamps, which store the date and time that the transaction was recorded to the database.

For example, a retail transaction may have taken place at the cash register on November 6, 2010 @ 11:40 AM (activity timestamp), but was not recorded to the database until November 6, 2010 @ 7:00 PM (transaction timestamp).
